Pinspiration: Ombre (and a Giveaway Winner!)

I know ombre is so last season (right?) but I love it anyway. Whether it’s on hair, fabric, or cake, I’m always game for some ombre love.

First up, there’s the shower curtain that started it all. It was the first time I’d seen a shower curtain that I lusted after. Until I saw the price tag. But it’s from Anthropologie, so what can you expect?

Martha Stewart has to have her say on the trend as well. She offers up this DIY pendant lamp shade, which I have to say is pretty darn chic.

Have I ever mentioned how much I like cake? Well, I do. But this ombre cake looks almost too lovely to eat!

Dum-dum-da-dum. Dum-dum-da-dum. Dum-dum-da-DUM-da….you get the idea. This might be my favorite ombre idea of all. How beautiful the colors are! But I don’t envy the person who had to do the work.

Needless to say, this dresser would need a very specific room to go in. A boy’s nautical themed bedroom, perhaps? Nonetheless, it’s very cool and I definitely appreciate the hard work and attention to detail that went into it!
